What she does: Promote Amos Trust and Street Child World Cup
Impact: Street children are no longer forcibly rounded up in Durban. Street children will be engaged, trained and encouraged to participate.

Katie is committed to helping improve the lives of poor and marginalised individuals and communities, and works with the Amos Trust on a range of education, health and agriculture projects. In 2010 she helped them establish the Street Child World Cup, and in March of that year, 8 teams of street children participated in the inaugural tournament in Durban: the team from Indiawon, with Tanzaniaas the runners-up. The success in Durbanhas strengthened the campaign, and the tournament will run again in Brazilin 2014. It has given new profile to, and better awareness and action around, the global issue around street children.
